Neuroaffirming Eating Disorder & Neurodivergent Counselling
In-person in Dunfermline, Fife & Online Across the UK
I offer counselling across the UK for adults who are experiencing:
Eating disorders or disordered eating
Binge eating, restriction, or emotional eating
Autism and/or ADHD (diagnosed or self-identified)
Late-diagnosed neurodivergence
Sensory-related eating challenges
Chronic pain and its impact on daily life
I offer a welcoming, non-judgemental, trauma-informed space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace.
I work pluralistically, which means I don’t believe there is one single “right” way to do therapy. Instead, I draw on a range of approaches and adapt our work to suit you—your needs, your goals, and what feels most helpful at any given time.
My focus is you: your story, your experiences, and what matters to you.
"I offer neuroaffirming eating disorder counselling across the UK, supporting individuals experiencing disordered
eating, as well as those who identify as autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD."
Areas of Expertise
Eating Disorder &
Disordered Eating Counselling
I specialise in working with eating disorders and disordered eating, including:
Restriction and dieting cycles
Binge eating and loss of control around food
Emotional eating
Food-related anxiety and obsessive thoughts
Compensatory behaviours
You do not need a diagnosis to access support. If your relationship with food feels difficult, confusing, or distressing, that is enough.
Together, we will explore the emotional, psychological, and relational factors that are shaping your experience. My aim is to support you in developing a more compassionate, sustainable relationship with food and with yourself.
Autism, ADHD & Neurodivergent Counselling
I work with autistic and ADHD clients, including those who are self-identified or diagnosed later in life.
Exploring neurodivergence can bring a mix of clarity, grief, relief, and uncertainty. It can lead to rethinking your identity, your past experiences, and how you relate to yourself and others.
Eating difficulties are often closely linked to:
Sensory sensitivities
Routine and predictability
Emotional regulation
Nervous system overwhelm
In our work together, we will gently explore how your neurodivergence connects to your relationship with food, while supporting your needs in a way that feels respectful, affirming, and realistic.
Chronic Pain
I have a particular interest in chronic pain and the impact it can have on emotional wellbeing and day-to-day life.
With nearly 20 years experience in healthcare, I bring an understanding of the interaction between physical health, chronic conditions, and psychological experiences.
